Fedak was born Mar. 19, 1963, the same day as Ornette Coleman, in Windsor Ontario. Growing up he listened to Pink Floyd (especially from 1967 to 1976), King Crimson, Soft Machine, Iggy and the Stooges, and pre-1977 ELO, among others.
