Petr Vit studied guitar in Brno, Prague and Vienna. His teachers were among others M. Mysliveček, Š. Rak, K. Raggossnig and R. Aussel. In 1993 he got a scholarship from the Spanish Ministery of Foreign Affairs to study the flamenco guitar and the history of flamenco music in Andalusia.
