Quartz Safari is a collaboration between Robert Thompson (New Jersey, USA) and Sepehr Lemar Nabi (Oslo, Norway). The duo has created the psychedelic tapes "Pineal Origins" (Rotifer Cassettes, 2011) and "Quartz Safari" (Fadeaway Tapes, 2013), and in 2016 they released the full-length record "Syzygy" (Ginjoha, 2015), which featured more hip-hop, jazz, and experimental electronic influences.
